Chicken and Fresh Tomato Casserole

4 cups diced fresh or home-canned tomatoes
2 cups chopped cooked chicken meat
1/2 cup chopped sweet bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 10-ounce package frozen green beans
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup dry fine bread crumbs
4 cups cooked medium egg noodles
Oven:  350º

Combine water, salt, pepper and tomatoes.  Stir in remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and noodles.  Spoon into lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish; sprinkle with crumbs.  Cover and bake about 1 hour; uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes.  Serve over hot noodles.  Serves 6
