2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup shortening or butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk
Stir flour and salt together, cut in shortening and mix with milk to form dough. Knead very thoroughly. Pinch off small balls of dough and roll very thin on floured surface. Bake on a hot ungreased griddle (watch carefully, it doesn't take long!), turning once.
Will make over a dozen tortillas.
