Light Chocolate Pound Cake
This is a light fluffy type chocolate cake.  The chocolate glaze rounds it out.

1 ½ cups butter, softened
3 cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
3 cups cake flour or all-purpose flour sifted 3 times
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup dry cocoa
1 ¼ cups whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
Oven:  350°

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Sift together flour, cocoa and salt; add alternately to creamed mixture with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.  Stir in vanilla.  Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 75 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.  Cool 15 minutes in pan before removing to rack to cool completely.  Glaze with Chocolate Confectioner’s Glaze.
