Snow Cream
On winter days during blizzards my mother would bring huge pans of fresh clean snow in and prepare this treat.  It’s one the whole family remembers!

2 whole eggs
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
Food coloring (optional)
Fresh clean second-day snow

In a giant sized bowl, combine the eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla, stirring until sugar dissolves.  Begin adding the snow, beating until desired consistency is achieved.  Tint with several drops of food coloring if desired.  Serve immediately!
