Sausage/Squash Bake

1 pound lean sausage, browned, drained and coarsely crumbled
6 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 cups grated cheese of choice
1/4 cup finely minced onion
1/4 cup finely minced sweet bell pepper
1 cup chopped yellow squash
Bread crumbs
Oven:  375º

Brown the onion and pepper in a little butter in skillet.  Place in large mixing bowl and add all remaining ingredients except bread crumbs.  Pour into lightly greased 2-quart ovenproof casserole and dust generously with bread crumbs.  Bake until golden brown and set. Should serve 4 easily.
