Daun's You Won't Believe What's Not In It Salad

1 package red leaf lettuce
1 package green leaf lettuce
2 cans mandarin oranges
1 package slivered almonds
Italian salad dressing

Shred lettuce; add oranges with juice, almonds and toss with enough dressing to coat.  For those who don't like the idea of biting into orange in their salad, puree the oranges with the dressing before adding.
