Cranberry Sauce

4 cups fresh whole cranberries
2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups water

Place berries, sugar and water in heavy saucepot and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.  Boil hard for 10 minutes or until fruit splits and softens.  Cool to lukewarm, puree in blender, strain through sieve and pour into mold and chill.
