Pasta Alfredo

4 cups cold milk
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1 carrot, grated
1/4 cup minced parsley
2 tablespoons grated onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
4 cups cooked angel-hair pasta

Stir milk and cornstarch together until smooth over medium heat; stir in carrot, parsley, onion, butter, cheese and seasoning and cook until thickened.  Coat pasta with sauce thoroughly and serve hot
