Barbecued Meatballs


1 pound Meatballs
BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup canola. oil
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon A-1 Sauce
1/2 cup beef broth
3 whole cloves
dash of chili powder
salt and pepper to taste

Sauté onion, celery and green pepper in oil over medium heat until tender,
about 8-10 minutes. Add remaining sauce ingredients. Simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes. Add meatballs to sauce. Stir and simmer 20 minutes. Serve with toothpicks.
