Fresh Garden Soup

1 16-0unce can each of the following, drained (or 2 cups fresh):
Cut green beans
Cut yellow wax beans
Whole new potatoes, cubed
Whole kernel corn
Sliced carrots or peas/carrots (pkg. frozen may be substituted)
1/4 cup minced onion
1 cup sliced okra or celery
2 sliced zucchini
1 16-ounce can tomato sauce
3 16-ounce cans diced tomatoes
4 cups chicken broth
2 teaspoons each basil leaves, oregano
1 teaspoon minced garlic

Combine all ingredients in large stockpot; bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer at least 3 hours or until the fresh vegetables are tender.  Stir occasionally.  Serves a family of four easily.
